What time are the Gator Shows?
Gator Shows are held daily at 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM. These shows are completely free of charge.
What does it cost to get into Gator Beach?
Admission to Gator Beach is absolutely free. There are charges only for gator food, gator photos, and merchandise.
What time does Gator Beach open and close?
Gator Beach typically opens when Fudpucker’s opens its doors at 11:00 AM and closes around the same time as the restaurant. For current operating hours, please call 850-654-4200.
What is the cost to have a picture taken holding a gator?
The cost for a photo holding a gator is $15.
What is the cost to feed the alligators?
Feeding the alligators costs $5 per bag of specially formulated Gator Food.
Can I take a large group or school group to Gator Beach?
Yes, Gator Beach accommodates large groups. For groups of 20 or more, it’s appreciated if you call ahead. For school groups, field trips, and large private events, please schedule a few days in advance by emailing via the contact form or calling 850-654-4200.
Where do the alligators at Gator Beach come from?
All alligators at Gator Beach are purchased from alligator farms, where they are typically raised for their leather and meat. Instead, Gator Beach keeps them for educational purposes.
How big are the gators?
Most alligators in the main pond range between 2 and 6 feet in length. Gator Beach also has smaller baby alligators and yearlings.
Are service animals allowed in Gator Beach?
No, service animals are not allowed in Gator Beach. This policy is in place because alligators are natural predators of dogs, and the presence of a dog could cause agitation or aggressive behavior in the alligators, posing a risk to guests, staff, and the animals themselves.
Age Limitations
Children (3 though 12 years) and guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guest age 16 or older.
Using Drones
Drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles with or without recording capabilities are strictly prohibited.
